I have never met any ruder person than the old man who owns this "restaurant". Our encounter was beyond ridiculous. He seems to hate dogs and people. I am never setting foot near this "restaurant" again. 🤣
The ladies were friendly enough but the food was mediocre at best. The dude there (most likely the guy who owns this place) is extremely rude. When we first went he did not have a problem with us walking our puppy in front of the restaurant at the beach (I bet because we were eating there and therefore paying customers). The second time we just walked by he jumped out the restaurant and started yelling at me. Unfortunately for him, I yell back. Rude, grumpy, old man who seems to believe everything is his business. Mind you there were a million other dog owners in plain sight. Absolutely unacceptable behavior. So, spare yourselves the misery of meh food and awful manners.
Delicious food. Surprisingly tasty sandwiches eaten at a nice beach bar of very nice nice and helpful people.

The menus on your website need updating. I travelled to your bar especially to try out the British style food on your specials menu only to find they no longer exist. Gammon steak and chips had to be replaced by a McDonalds on the way home.
Good food. Good beer. Great landlord. Stunning setting with wonderful sunsets overlooking the mere. Live music nights. Pool table.
Food was fine, but our waitress was massively rude and really put us off. Shame as the lady who came out afterwards when I asked to pay was really friendly, but our meal was ruined by it.
